Well we have been on the road for over a week now and for the most part it has been uneventful. The big surprise was staying in a campground in Alabama that was set up as one of those drive through Christmas light shows. It was located on the waterfront and all the trees were lit up and it really was quite beautiful. Kean captured the photo above down by the water.
To give you a little recap, we spent Thanksgiving with family on the New Jersey shore. As usual we had a wonderful time catching up and enjoying each other’s company. Twenty-one for dinner! Thanks Wally & Dot for having us.
We left NJ on Saturday morning and started south. We spent one night each in Hyattsville Maryland, Ashland VA, Max Meadows VA, Sweetwater TN, Gadsden AL, Meridian MS, and we now sit in Livingston LA. Tomorrow we hit the road again for another week of driving.
The drive itself hasn’t been bad. We are usually on the road between 8:30 & 9:30 and get to the RV park between 1:00 & 1:30. This give us time to set up, have lunch, and then go work out. Traveling is very sedentary so we have to make sure we get our exercise in. We were fortunate to find an Anytime Fitness location close to all our stops except Alabama. It also helps not to have to do a bunch of repairs when we stop. We have been fortunate that the only issue we have had during the drive was the back facing camera. This caused me to drive the Jeep for a while behind the RV but Kean pulled the bottom part of the dash apart and it is working again. Not sure what he did but fingers crossed it is a permanent fix.
So long for now until our next extended stop next weekend.

I am glad you two are having such a fantastic journey traveling this beautiful country WOW 2 years and still going strong, you have a big bucket hope you see everything on your list.
