Heading West – Round 2

We are now on our way to the west coast. We spent 3 weeks in Virginia Beach taking care of all the annual doctor appointments, RV maintenance, and of course, visiting with all our friends. We had a great time spending time with all the folks that we have missed this past year. Until next year my friends. We will miss you!!

After leaving Virginia Beach we headed to New Jersey to spend Thanksgiving with family.  As usual it was a blast.  Thanksgiving would not be the same without all of you.   

After NJ we headed south back to Myrtle Beach. The broken slide part was waiting for us there. Considering that we have been living with half a house for 2 months, I have to tell you that I was ready. Luckily, the part worked, the slide is fixed and we think we now live in a mansion. It is wonderful to have all our space back.

We left there and are now parked in Kingsland GA, just north of Jacksonville FL. Yesterday we did a day trip to St. Augustine to visit the Golf Hall of Fame and to have lunch with some old friends that we hadn’t seen in years. Marcia & Phliip it was great to see you and how is it that you both look the same?  I guess it is because you live there next to the Fountain of Youth. 😉

I would be remiss if I didn’t share some of my photos of the Hall of Fame. We enjoyed the exhibits and each got to hit 3 shots at the island green. What fun!

So tomorrow we pull up stakes and start the westward trek with stops near Pensacola, Lafayette LA, Katy TX, a few days in San Antonio, Ft. Stockton TX, Las Cruces NM, Tucson AZ and stopping in Indo CA.  California here we come.
